Wes McGraw, aka Cowboy is puzzled by the messages on his computer asking for his help. It's all mysterious. But he finally gives in to the request to meet the person, and when he arrives, he finds out it's Kia Silverbrook, the Goth hacker beauty from high school. The long-limbed, gawky teenager had grown into a beautiful, long-limbed woman, curvy in all the right places. All his protective instincts rise to the fore when she tells him she's in some deep trouble and she doesn't know who to turn to or who to trust.

His quiet confidence and charm had been off the charts in high school, but now, boy howdy, this cowboy was now a ripped, lean, mean combination of handsome, wrapped up in a beautiful muscled bow. He took her breath away. But she couldn't get side-tracked by Wes's potent presence. Her life was on the line here and she'd barely escaped the assassins sent to kill her at her home. There was only one man who could save and protect her--Wes. He was her only hope in discovering why exactly someone wanted her dead.
